This coming June 1 2007 AD, Castillo del Placuna Placenta shall once again open its grand portals to a new batch of freshmen. These freshmen come from all walks of life and from all over the universe. Though they may have different mindsets at first, all of them have made one common decision that they will never regret: to be part of the fabulous history of Balay Lampirong.

Balay Lampirong is named after a shell - the kapis shell. The scientific name of the kapis/lampirong shell is Placuna placenta, thus the name Castillo del Placuna Placenta. I guess they won't mind us calling the best dorm a castillo (castle).
Hoy mga upperclass and alumni! Wala ba kayong sasabihin sa mga first years? Any inspirational message there?

Hi Freshmen! Welcome sa best dorm!
We will assure you na magiging masaya ang stay ninyo sa dorm. Your first weeks in the university will never be easy, just like what i had before. Umiyak ako ng ilang linggo and encountered many difficulties in coping with my new environment.
But don't you worry guys...Hall1 (also known as Balay Lampirong, Castillo del Placuna PLacenta and BEST DORM)will be helping you to adjust. You will be meeting new friends and experience meaningful happinness in the dorm... Kaya wag na malungkot! Be proud and be happy coz you are now a Hall1 dormer! Looking forward for many tv and kape seesios, chismisans, laughters and of course eskwela...huhuhu!

I-enjoy lang ninyo ang pagtira sa Hall 1. Sa aking karanasan kasi, parang Concorde kung lumipad ang oras sa UP. Parang ngang kahapon lang na ako'y naging isang first year na katulad nyo... Haaay

Maligayang pagdating sa PUSO NG UNIBERSIDAD NG PILIPINAS mga freshmen.. (nahirapan ako maghanap ng tagalog ng fresmen haha)
kaming inyong mga ate at kuya ay lubos na nagagalak na kayo ay iwelcome at maging kasambahay sa pinaka prestiyosong dorm sa balat ng Earth!..
huwag lamang kayong mabibigla sa kasikatang inyong matatamasa habang kayo ay Housemates sa bahay ni Big Mama! (makikilala nyo rin siya sa mga darating na araw)..
hinihingi lang namin ang inyong kooperasyon na mapanatili ang pagiging Fabulous ng Hall 1 at ang pagiging artistahin ng mga naninirahan dito!! HAHA!
